GoEngineer, a leading solutions provider to engineering, manufacturing and product design companies throughout the U.S., will exhibit at 3D Printer World Expo and sponsor an engineering themed 3D printable design contest awarding $15,000 to the winner, with second and third place honorees earning cash awards as well. The contest is one of four design competitions – engineering, jewelry, abstract art and character art – culminating with award presentations made at the 3D Printer World Expo on Jan. 31-Feb. 1 in Burbank, Calif.
"GoEngineer is a terrific sponsor and partner for this type of contest," says Bob Titsch, content developer for 3D Printer World Expo. "Being a top reseller of SolidWorks, GoEngineer has groomed and worked with talented CAD designers for many years. We are very grateful to have their support."
GoEngineer is a value-added reseller of solutions from SolidWorks, Stratasys/Objet, Geometric CAMWorks, Altium EDA and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). As a sponsor of the engineering themed contest, company representatives will join 3D Printer World on a panel of judges to select 10 contest finalists, and GoEngineer will 3D print their designs so they can be displayed on the exhibit floor at the 3D Printer World Expo.
The engineering contest rules and criteria will be announced later this month.
