3D Printer World Expo is coming to Seattle

Two leading technology players in the Northwest – CIMtech and US Cutter – have signed on as platinum event sponsors and will demo a range of 3D printing hardware and printed parts at 3D Printer World Expo in Seattle on Aug. 22-23.

CIMtech has a 25-year history supplying the Pacific Northwest with technologies such as Stratasys 3D printers, portable 3D laser scanners, Formech thermoforming machines and Mastercam CNC software.  At the Seattle Expo, the company will be demonstrating Stratasys fused deposition modeling (FDM) and PolyJet 3D printers, and exhibiting unique printed part examples from both technologies including concept models, functional prototypes, jigs and fixtures, and end-use parts.

US Cutter is one of two U.S. distributors for Leapfrog, a 3D printer manufacturer based in The Netherlands, and will have a 20'x 20' island on the exhibit floor to display 3D printers from Leapfrog as well as other products. Since 2005, the company has been a provider of equipment and supplies to the custom graphics, apparel and cuttable film markets. More recently, after deploying 3D printers in-house to print internal gears for digital printers, belt clamps for old cutters and other parts, the company became a Leapfrog dealer, and other distribution deals are in the works.

"Both CIMtech and US Cutter have roots in the Seattle area, are very successful and offer terrific products," says Bob Titsch, show director for 3D Printer World Expo. "We're absolutely thrilled to have their support and know that attendees will appreciate seeing firsthand how these companies -- and other vendor partners exhibiting at the show -- are helping businesses, hospitals, schools, museums, libraries and other organizations leverage 3D printing technology in both practical and visionary ways."

3D Printer World Expo Seattle brings the entire 3D printing ecosystem under one roof to showcase commercial, professional and desktop 3D printers, software solutions, service bureau offerings, imaging technology and various materials used in 3D printing.
