Motorola is reaching out to the maker community in an innovative new way. They've packed a Velcro-covered Sprinter van full of the latest technology like 3D printers, laser cutters and soldering stations. Then they took the whole show on the road, traveling around the United States to host mini Make-A-Thons.
Their first stop was at UC Berkeley in California where participants designed things like micro trackers to help locate your keys and retractable headphones that can be built right into your Smartphone.
They've released some footage of the event here:
So far Make with Moto has made about eight different stops, covering most of California and Texas. Upcoming events will be hosted in Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Georgia, New York and North Carolina.
