When Jim Kor, President of KOR EcoLogic, set out to create a car he had one simple goal: he wanted to make it as energy efficient as possible. Kor quickly realized that traditional manufacturing techniques were never going to work for his design.

Instead of using heavy pieces of sheet metal to create his car, Kor wanted a lighter and more flexible option. The heavier a vehicle is the more energy it takes to run it. He also wanted to be able to control the precise thickness of the car's body in order to add strength where it is needed, and reduce bulk where it isn't.
