Desktop 3D printers are a hot commodity right now, but they don't quite "sell themselves" yet.

That means 3D Systems is looking for "brand ambassadors" to demonstrate what their Cube line of printers can do as they start appearing on the shelves of the 350 Staples and Office Depot stores across the lower 48 states.

Raleigh, N.C.-based Headway Workforce Solutions is handling the hiring for 3D Systems. They've already hired 126 people and are looking to hire approximately 44 more.

"Headway has been an instrumental resource for us by taking the challenge of recruiting and managing 175 ambassadors off our plate so we can focus on profitability and growth," 3D Systems CEO Avi Reichental said.

These are part-time positions with flexible hours. There may be some travel involved, but most likely not more than 30 miles.

"We want people who are tech savvy, but are also comfortable working with people who maybe aren't so tech savvy," Headway Program Manager Chris Mangan said.

Hires will technically be Headway employees, not 3D Systems.
