Mid-range, often discounted; the AMS lite combo costs more
The printer most often recommended to first-time buyers, for a reason: it levels the bed, tunes flow and cancels its own motor noise on every job, so the first print works and so does the two hundredth. At 48 dB in silent mode it is also one of the quietest machines on the list.
The open frame is the ceiling: no ABS or ASA, and the AMS lite leaves spools in open air where filament picks up moisture. Multicolor waste is real; one owner test turned a 51 g print into 98 g of purge. Buy it to find out whether the hobby is yours; it resells well if it is not.
Best at: The first printer, and one of the quietest here.
Worst at: Anything beyond PLA, PETG and TPU.
