Upper mid-range; the AMS 2 Pro combo costs more
The default answer in 2026. An enclosed CoreXY that runs a full calibration on every job, prints ABS and ASA without modification, and takes the AMS 2 Pro for four colors with drying built into the unit. Owner threads report success rates near 100 percent over hundreds of hours, which is the number that matters.
The trade is the company: firmware is closed, repairs go through Bambu parts, and the January 2025 authentication change is why a visible minority of owners say this machine is their last Bambu. The 300 °C nozzle also rules out serious nylon work.
Best at: Reliability per dollar; printing instead of tinkering.
Worst at: Repairs on your own terms, and engineering filaments past 300 °C.
