Prusa CORE One+
Premium as a kit; more assembled
Prusa’s enclosed CoreXY, updated to the Core One+ in August 2026 with automatic first-layer calibration and a heated 55 °C chamber. The premium buys what no Bambu offers: published schematics, every spare part sold individually, support that answers around the clock, and firmware nobody can lock down later.
Early Core One units shipped rough; owner threads report belt and homing failures that the August 2026 revision is intended to address. It is also the slowest enclosed CoreXY in its class by design. Buy it to keep for a decade, not to win a race.
Best at: Ownership: schematics, spares, and a company that publishes everything.
Worst at: Price against the Bambu it competes with, and speed.
