Mid-range; the ACE Pro color unit costs more
A 420 × 420 × 500 mm bed for mid-range money, which is the cheapest way to print a helmet or a prop in one piece rather than five. Auto-leveling is automatic, spares are cheap and everywhere, and no rival gets close on volume for the price.
It is an open frame with no chamber heat, so the ABS and ASA compatibility on Anycubic’s own pages depends on your room and an aftermarket enclosure. There is no camera on the base machine either, which is a strange omission on a printer whose jobs run for days. Owners specifically report distrusting it on tall parts.
Best at: Build volume per dollar, by a wide margin.
Worst at: Long, tall prints, where the open frame and warping meet.
