Polymaker PolyLite PLA
Mid-range per kilogram
The most technically documented PLA here: a full data sheet with density, heat deflection and tensile figures, at least 25 colors before the finish variants, and a cardboard spool Polymaker calls biodegradable. It is also the plastic behind other labels, so the same material reaches shelves at several prices.
For all that documentation it publishes no diameter tolerance anywhere, which is the one number a filament buyer would check. Its stated bed range starts at 25 °C, meaning Polymaker does not consider a heated bed necessary, which is unusual enough to surprise someone following a generic profile.
Best at: Documentation, and a spool that is not plastic.
Worst at: Publishing no diameter tolerance at all.
